LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's soccer sophomore Sawyer Frye has been named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week, earning the first weekly honor of her career after leading the Regals through a dominant 2-0 week.

Frye was the driving force behind Cal Lutheran's attack, accounting for four of the team's 10 goals while adding two assists for 10 points across the two matches. The Regals outscored their opponents 10-1 during the week while extending their winning streak to four matches and recording their sixth shutout of the season.

Frye opened the week with a hat trick in Wednesday's 4-1 victory over Redlands. She completed the hat trick just over five minutes into the second half to give the Regals a 4-0 advantage. Frye also assisted Stephenie Hackett's goal, finishing the match with seven points.

The sophomore continued her impact Saturday at Caltech, scoring just 1:14 into the match before assisting Jessica Sprouse's second goal in a 6-0 victory. The Regals completely controlled the match, outshooting the Beavers 37-1 and putting 16 shots on target.
