NCAA Division III SAAC Mission Statement
The mission of the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes; protecting student-athlete welfare; and fostering a positive student-athlete image while maintaining the tenants of the Division III philosophy.
The Cal Lutheran SAAC Purposes
Improve communication between student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty, and staff.
Improve student-athlete well-being by engaging in the examination of critical D-III issues.
Develop a plan to positively change our campus.
Provide feedback and insight into athletics department or conference issues.
Solicit student-athlete responses to proposed conference and NCAA legislation.
Build a sense of community involving all campus teams and conference institutions.
Organize community service efforts.
Promote a positive student-athlete image on campus.
