CARMEL, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's golf traveled up to northern California to compete in the RCA Electric Invitational hosted by Menlo at the par-71 Quail Lodge Golf Course in Carmel. In the two-day, three round tournament, the Regals finished in third as a team behind two top-10 finishes from

Lily Stern joined them as an individual. The first day of action saw the golfers begin with a shotgun start at 9:00am Monday morning.
Dela Rama (H5) recorded a birdie on the par-3 hole 8 before enduring a tough stretch. She dug herself out with two birdies and five pars over her final seven holes to end the round at +2. Morris (H7) caught fire early, birdying two of her first three holes. She later added another birdie on the par-4 hole 3, and she finished at +4. Round 2 was another shotgun start later in the day at 2:00pm.
Morris (H7) knocked in three birdies and led the Regals at +4. Poulin (H6) remained consistent with one birdie on the par-4 hole 3, slightly improving with a round of +10. Despite the +38 as a team, the Regals still sat in 3rd place entering the final round. Morris ended Round 2 in the top-5 at +8 through 36 holes.
The final round teed off as another shotgun start at 9:00am the following morning.
Dela Rama (H1) shot the best round of any Cal Lutheran player throughout the tournament, starting with a birdie out of the gate followed by six consecutive pars. She birdied the par-5 hole 9 to finish -1 in the front-nine. She would end the round at +1. Morris (H1) dropped in a birdie on the par-5 hole 14 and ended with a +8. Poulin (H3) sunk a birdie on the par-3 hole 17 en route to a +9 round. Hesse (H2) collected a birdie on the par-4 hole 11, finishing at +14. The Regals finished with the second-lowest score of Round 3 at +32, but it wasn't enough to lift them up a rung on the scoreboard, as they finished in 3rd place at +94 as a team through three rounds.
Dela Rama finished T-6th at +14 and Morris ended right behind her in 8th at +16.
Cal Lutheran will next compete at the Golfweek Classic in Destin, Florida from October 12-14.
