RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's cross country competed at the Highlander Invitational on Saturday morning in the 8,000 Meters Open race, finishing 12th as a team with 307 points across its 11 participants. The Kingsmen set six personal bests, and
Adrian Rodriguez ran the 23rd-fastest time in program history at the UC Riverside course.
Rodriguez ran the fastest time of all Cal Lutheran runners at 28:09.30, a season-best time for him and 85th individually in the race.

Tristan Kanner (29:28.90),
Diego Romero (29:32.40),
Thomas Illson (29:33.70), and
Noah Mullins (30:05.50) all ran personal bests, with Mullins improving on his personal best by over a minute.
Cal Lutheran's next race will be its return to the Pomona-Pitzer course for the SCIAC Championships on the morning of November 1. The Kingsmen recently competed at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite on October 4.
