FULLERTON, Calif. — The Cal Lutheran men's and women's cross country teams competed in their second meet of the season at the Biola Invite on Friday morning. The Kingsmen finished tenth with 247 points and the Regals were seventh with 220, each showing big improvements from their first race.
Senior
Eric Talbert was the first Kingsman to finish. He finished in 24th place with a time of 25 minutes and 29.5 seconds, which was over a minute PR from the course last year. Freshman
Adrian Rodriguez was next and placed 71st with 27:04.8
Also competing for the Kingsmen were
Logan Bury (75th, 27:11.5),
Sebastian Sawyer (88th, 27:40.4),
George Gaitanis (119th, 29:56.7),
Diego Romero (123rd, 30:25.6),
Vincent May (143rd, 34:10.9),
Joe Lopez Vasquez (144th, 35:00.5), and
Ian Skrinde (148th, 37:19.5).
Romero's time was over a three minute improvement from his first collegiate 8k race just two weeks prior.
For the Regals, junior
Summer Gelman was the first to cross the finish line. She clocked a time of 18:31.6 and placed 25th. Freshman Nataly Vigil Tello was the second Regal to finish and was 57th with 19:50.6.

Fleming's time was also over a three minute PR from when she last took the course in the 2023 season.
