VENTURA, Calif. - Cal Lutheran women's golf kicked off its fall season at the CA State Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, as the Regals combined to shoot +23 over two rounds to earn a second-place finish out of 10 teams.
Brooke Alderson led the way with a 3-over-par performance as she placed second out of 59 individuals. After shooting a 75 on day one, Alderson shot a 72 in the second round, finishing 3-over-par with 147 strokes total.
Maya Dela Rama shot 7-over earning her T-7th, shooting 75 on day one and 76 on day two. Anna Poulin (+8, 75-77-152) and Ashley Zook (+8, 76-76-152) tied with each other to make it four Regals in the top 10.
Caroline Morris (+10, 73-81-154) tied for 16th place and Kaylie Hesse (+12, 78-78-156) tied for 20th.
Also contributing for the Regals were Victoria Ruiz (T-30th, +16), Lily Stern (T-37th, +19), Harlee Samp (T-49th, +30), and Julia Booth (T-51st, +31).
The Regals are back in action two weekends from now at the Benedictine Invitational in Kanasville, Wisconsin.
