PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. - Cal Lutheran women's golf finished seventh at the UCSC Spring Invite on Sunday afternoon.
The Regals carded a 61-over-par as they shot a 324 in the first round and improved with a 313 in the second for a total of 637 strokes.
Ashley Zook led the way and tied for 17th. She started the tournament with a 6-over-par 78 and followed it up with a 75 for a total of 153 strokes. Brooke Alderson was next as she tied for 32nd. She shot a 79 in both rounds and finished with 158 strokes.
Anna Poulin, Maya dela Rama, and Kaylie Hesse contributed to the team score as Victoria Ruiz competed individually. Poulin was 44th (87-75-162), dela Rama tied for 54th (84-84-168), Ruiz was 60th (86-84-170), and Hesse tied for 63rd (83-93-176).
Up next for the Regals is SCIAC #2 on April 6-7.
