POMONA, Calif. — Cal Lutheran men's and women's track & field combine for 10 top-15 finishes at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers on Saturday afternoon. 

Logan Abounader and Taylor Kemp both had a top-10 mark to lead their teams. Abounader was seventh in the discus with 37.24 meters and Kemp was ninth in the hammer with 30.02m. 

The top marks came from all over the team. Abounader had another strong mark and was 12^th in the javelin with 34.82m and 13^th in the hammer with 29.43m. Sierra Thomas was 12^th in the long jump for the women and had 4.21m. Ericka Clemons and Sadie Rico were 13^th for the Regals. Clemons had a time of 14.21 in the 100 dash and Rico had 27.03m in the discus. 

The teams had three place 15^th. Eric Talbert clocked a time of 8:53.97 in the 3000-meter run, Kemp had 25.24m in the javelin, and Rico had 8.09m in the shot put to cap off the top-15 marks. 

Erika Garcia placed in the top 20 for the Regals. She was 17^th in the 400 dash with 1:16.73. The Kingsmen had three more place 20^th and the Regals added one more. Matthew Crellin clocked 57.90 in the 400 dash, Corbin Williams had a distance of 9.88m in the shot put and Jacob Whitmore had 5.21m in the long jump. 

The teams competed in five more events. Cora Hautekeete was 25^th in the one-mile run (6:09.71), Clemons was 27^th in the 200 dash (30.26), Johnathan Borjas was 32^nd in the 100 dash (11.90), Matthew Crellin was 39^th in the 200 dash (24.90), and Max Segeberg was 39^th in the one-mile run (4:51.16). 

The Kingsmen and Regals have two weeks off before getting back into competition. The teams are at SCIAC #1 with La Verne, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and the host, Occidental, on March 2^nd at 10 am.
