VENTURA, Calif. — Cal Lutheran women's golf hosted the CA State Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday at Olivas Links Golf Course. The Regals placed fifth at 25-over-par. They shot a 323 in the first round and improved with a 300 in the second. 
 
Kaylie Hesse led the Regals with a top-20 finish. She shot a 1-under-par 71 on Monday but followed it up with a 78. She finished with 149 strokes and was in 20^th place. 
 
Anna Poulin was the next Regal to finish. She tied for 28^th with 153 strokes. She shot a 79 on day one and improved with a 74 on day two. 
 
Also competing for the Regals were Ashley Zook (T-33^rd, 76-80-156), Brooke Alderson (T-36^th, 79-79-158), and Maya dela Rama (T-47^th, 74-89-163). 
 
The Regals had two individuals competing. Victoria Ruiz (51^st, 84-83-167) and Harlee Samp (58^th, 95-97-192) hit the course for Cal Lutheran.

The tournament featured 10 teams and 59 individuals. The teams shot 18 holes each day. 
 
Up next for the Regals is the Bulldog Classic on September 25-26.
