PASADENA, Calif. - Midway through the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) season, the Cal Lutheran women's water polo team used an offensive surge in which a dozen players scored to defeat Caltech 18-3 and even its conference record.

The Regals jumped out to a 7-1 lead and never looked back today. An offensive explosion included goals from 12 different players with a hat-trick from Cindy Delic to lead the attack. Bailey Likewise, Tatiana McCuaig, Nicole Roed and Kayla Wagenhofer all netted a pair apiece as well. Amanda Jones continued to dish out assists left and right, earning a trio today while Maggie Kurzeka supplied a pair. The seven total drawn ejections came from as many players. The defense was paced by five steals by Logan Young with McCuaig earning a field block. The goalkeeping duties were split between Gina Merry and Bailey Meyer with each recording seven saves and a steal.
Notables: CLU evened its SCIAC record with a win today. The Regals have won 10 or more games 10 times during the 13 year program history. Today, CLU surpassed its win-total from a year ago.
