THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's and women's swimming and diving combined to place eight student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, recognizing their excellence in the pool and in the classroom.

The Regals were represented by Julia Benko, Asha McClain, Cam Alexander, and Madi Bodhidatta, while Dylan Villanueva, Paul Patterson, Jude Solis, and Zach Zauhar-Kurr earned the honor for the Kingsmen.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

McClain (Sr., Biology) – 3.79 GPA
Alexander (So., Liberal Studies in Education) – 3.72 GPA
Bodhidatta (Sr., Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship) – 3.60 GPA

Patterson (So., Business Marketing) – 3.56 GPA

Following a standout senior season, Bodhidatta was selected to represent Cal Lutheran on the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with honorees to be announced on April 28.

The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom across NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet specific competition criteria, including participation in at least 75 percent of team competitions, a top-eight finish at a conference championship meet, or participation in a national championship.
