Madi Bodhidatta Earns All-SCIAC, Secures NCAA Bid

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Senior Madi Bodhidatta continues to add to her decorated career, earning All-SCIAC honors and qualifying for the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships.

All-SCIAC teams were officially announced this week following the conference championships, where Bodhidatta secured her spot with a runner-up finish in the 50 freestyle. Her silver-medal performance automatically earned the all-conference distinction.

Bodhidatta touched the wall in 23.10, setting the program record in the women's 50 free and ranking ninth in NCAA Division III this season.

That performance also secured her return to the national stage. The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced championship selections Wednesday morning, with Bodhidatta named among the 526 swimmers set to compete March 18-21 at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis.

The appearance will be her third consecutive trip to nationals. Last year, Bodhidatta competed in three events at the NCAA Championships, finishing 33rd in the 50 free (23.57), 33rd in the 100 butterfly (56.27) and 51st in the 100 free (52.24) during preliminary swims.

She now returns to Indianapolis with the fastest 50 free time of her career and momentum from a historic conference performance. With experience and speed on her side, Bodhidatta heads back to the national meet ready to compete against the country's top sprinters.

Championship details, including psych sheets and streaming information, are available on NCAA.com, with all sessions scheduled to be streamed live throughout the four-day meet.
