RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized Cal Lutheran swimming & diving for its excellence in the classroom, naming both the Kingsmen and Regals Scholar All-America Teams while
Madi Bodhidatta and
Camden Franjieh were recognized as Scholar All-Americans.
The Regals posted a 3.63 team GPA during the Spring 2026 semester, while the Kingsmen recorded a 3.16 GPA to earn Scholar All-America Team recognition. Both teams also enjoyed success in the pool during the 2025-26 campaign, as the Regals placed fifth and the Kingsmen finished sixth at the SCIAC Championships.
Bodhidatta earned First-Team Scholar All-America honors for the second consecutive season. The business innovation & entrepreneurship major represented Cal Lutheran at the NCAA Division III Championships for the third straight year, competing in the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle. She finished just .24 seconds shy of her own school record in the 100 fly and concluded her career as a three-time NCAA qualifier, multiple-time All-SCIAC performer and one of the most accomplished swimmers in program history.
Franjieh was named a Second-Team Scholar All-American following an impressive first-year campaign. The business administration major qualified for the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals early in his collegiate career and represented the Kingsmen in Atlanta, finishing 16th on the 3-meter board and 19th on the 1-meter board. His regional appearance highlighted a strong debut season that paired success in the classroom with an immediate impact in competition.
The CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2026 semester. Team recognition is awarded to programs that achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, while individual Scholar All-America honors recognize student-athletes who combine academic excellence with success at the national level.
