Competed in two meets as a sophomore, participating in four different events…Swam the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle and backstroke at the SCIAC Championships, along with the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle and medley relays…Advanced to the finals in the 100 free, placing 15th with a season-best 47.51…Helped the 200 free relay team to a fourth place finish…Finished the season at tenth all-time at Cal Lutheran in the 100 back (53.75)…Named CSC Academic All-District.

Competed in eight total events during his first season with the Kingsmen…Participated in the individual medleys and backstroke…Highlighted the year with a fifth place finish in the 100 back at the Chapman dual meet.
