ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Cal Lutheran University's Lauren Lohmeier was named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for women's water polo after a dominant showing in the Regals' final two home games of the regular season, the conference announced Monday.

Lohmeier, a senior attacker from Mission Viejo, California, powered Cal Lu to a pair of big victories last week, defeating Redlands 20-3 and La Verne 25-10.

She delivered a standout offensive performance across both contests, opening the week with six goals, a drawn exclusion, and a steal against the Bulldogs. Lohmeier followed with four more goals and an additional steal against the Leopards, finishing with 10 total goals while impacting play on both ends of the pool.

With the regular season now complete, Lohmeier and the Regals turn their focus to postseason play. Cal Lutheran earned the No. 3 seed in the SCIAC Tournament and will travel to face No. 2 seed Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the semifinals on Thursday at 7 p.m.
