Coming off a national championship in 2024 and a second-straight Final Four appearance in 2025, Cal Lutheran men's volleyball slotted in at #9 in the AVCA Preseason Poll. According to the poll, which ranks the top 20 teams, the Kingsmen have a stacked schedule awaiting them this season.

Of the 33 teams who received votes on at least two ballots, Cal Lutheran will face off against 11 of them: RV (#29) Marymount, #7 Vassar, #8 NYU, #18 North Central (IL), RV (#30) Dominican (IL), RV (#26) MSOE, #2 Carthage, #11 Wentworth, #15 Baldwin Wallace, #10 Aurora, #13 UC Santa Cruz. The Kingsmen will see UC Santa Cruz twice.

Cal Lutheran kicks off its season with a home match against Hope International tomorrow morning at 10:30am before flying to Hawai'i for the Cal Luau Invitational this weekend.
