For the second-straight season, No. 8 Cal Lutheran men's volleyball is headed to the Final Four! This year, the NCAA Semifinal and Championship matches will be held in Salem, Virginia at host school Roanoke College.
No. 2 Southern Virginia University and No. 6 Juniata College will get things started with an afternoon match on Friday, April 25. Following that game, the Kingsmen will take on No. 4 Springfield College beginning at 4:30 PM PST.
The winners of both matches will play for the NCAA National Championship title on either Sunday or Monday, depending on the results of Southern Virginia, a program affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

NO. 8 CAL LUTHERAN
The Kingsmen, currently 23-6 overall, received an at-large bid to the tournament for the second year in a row. This also marks the second-ever NCAA Final Four appearance in program history. They started the tournament with a 3-1 win over Vassar, then stole another 3-1 victory over the No. 1, undefeated regional host NYU.

Jordan Cooper were recently named AVCA All-American for the second-consecutive season. Additionally,
Borys Horiuk,
Ben Weber, and
Braden Gonzales were announced to the All-Regional Team for their lights-out performances last week.
NO. 4 SPRINGFIELD
The Pride (24-4) also earned itself an at-large berth. In the Kenosha Regional, the team knocked out No. 20 Mount Union in five sets before taking on No. 6 Carthage, also prevailing in five. This will be Springfield's first semifinal appearance since 2022, and tenth in program history.
Dylan Mulvaney, Chris Rouleau, Jake DesLauriers, and Carter Durivage represent the Pride on this year's AVCA All-American list.
NO. 2 SOUTHERN VIRGINIA
The Knights won the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) Championship to earn their way into this year's tournament. Hosting the Lexington Regional, SVU swept St. Joseph's and defeated Messiah in four sets to move on to the semifinal round. Sitting at 33-1, the Knights' only loss came from Springfield last month. They have only dropped five sets this entire season.
SVU is led by the 2025 AVCA Division III Player of the Year, Christian Sheaffer, and Coach of the Year, Tom Peterson. Gehrig Tolman, Samuel Candland, and Justin Madsen also landed on the All-American teams.
NO. 6 JUNIATA
The Eagles (31-4) received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament after falling to Southern Virginia in the CVC Championship. In the Hoboken Regional, Juniata swept Wentworth and defeated Nichols in four to advance to the Final Four.
Coach Brandin McDonough was named AVCA Assistant Coach of the Year on Monday, and three Eagles earned All-American honors: Tyler Goldsborough, Luke Hoffman, and Juan Armando.
