Michael Stahl – Men's Volleyball
Stahl, a graduate right side/outside hitter, wrapped up his collegiate career with an incredible run through April, leading the Kingsmen to a 3-1 record during the month, including a five-set win over UC Santa Cruz to close the regular season and two major victories in the NCAA Tournament to punch their ticket to the program's second-straight Final Four.
He delivered across the board with 70 total kills, three assists, three service aces, 37 digs, six blocks, and 76 points over four matches. He posted a .304 hitting percentage on the month and recorded a season-high 18 digs and three aces against Vassar. Stahl was instrumental in the team's wins over Vassar and top-ranked, previously undefeated NYU in the NCAA Regional.
He finished his final season leading the Kingsmen in both kills and kills per set, and ranked second in total points to cap off a historic career in purple and gold.
Danielle Diaz – Softball
Diaz was a force at the plate throughout April, fueling the Regals' offense with clutch hitting and unmatched consistency. The sophomore designated player recorded a .444 batting average for the month, collecting at least one hit in every game but two. Her standout series came against Whittier, where she tallied a season-high three hits in one game, blasted two doubles in another, and tripled twice in a single outing.
Diaz totaled 16 hits, scored two runs, drove in six RBIs, and added four doubles, two triples, and two walks while striking out only four times to help guide the Regals to a 5-6 record in April. By the end of the month, she also led the SCIAC in batting average and ranked among the top five in on-base percentage, OPS, doubles, and sacrifice flies.
Luke Wechsler – Baseball
On the mound, Wechsler was nearly untouchable in April, going a perfect 4-0 in four starts for the Kingsmen. Over 28 innings pitched, the senior allowed just 30 hits, six earned runs, and six walks while striking out 20 batters.
His stellar performance earned him SCIAC Pitcher of the Week honors twice during the month, and he finished April with one of the lowest ERAs in the conference, ranking third overall. Wechsler also maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
