AZUSA, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's and women's track and field closed out its 2025 season at the Franson Last Chance, hosted by Azusa Pacific University on Friday and Saturday.
For the Regals,
Summer Gelman and
Alison Orwin represented in the 1500. Gelman placed 29th with a time of 4:39.04 while Orwin finished 76th with a lifetime best 5:07.98.
Taylor Dominguez competed in two field events to conclude her debut season. She tied for 14th in the high jump with a mark of 1.53m and earned 12th place in the pole vault, clearing 3.28m.
On the men's side,
Brady Karsten also secured a lifetime best, placing 76th in the 800 with 2:00.84. In the same event,
Adrian Rodriguez finished 87th with 2:03.39.
Nicolas Moore took 138th in the 1500, clocking in at 4:13.81, and
Eric Talbert capped off his career with a 92nd-place finish in the 5k at 16:31.53.
In field events,
Drew Nees posted a strong showing in the high jump, tying for 8th place with a mark of 1.88m. In the triple jump,
Darrin Parham landed at 13.12m to finish 15th.
The Franson Last Chance marked the final meet of the year for Cal Lutheran, as the Kingsmen and Regals wrapped up the 2025 track and field season with several strong performances in a competitive field.
