REDLANDS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's and women's track and field officially wrapped up the 2026 regular season at the University of Redlands Final Qualifier, as Sloan Pullen and Summer Gelman capped off standout distance campaigns while Michael Holland solidified his position in the national rankings ahead of the NCAA Championships selection announcement.

Pullen and Gelman closed their seasons with a hard-fought effort in the women's 1,500 meters, finishing first and second overall in the event. Pullen crossed in 4:45.53, while Gelman followed closely behind in 4:46.23.

Although neither time was enough to move further into NCAA qualifying position, the pair concluded exceptional seasons that firmly placed them among the top distance runners in program history.

Gelman, who will return for a fifth year next season with unfinished business, finished the year ranked top-six all-time at Cal Lutheran in four different events. She currently sits second in program history in the 5,000 meters, fifth in both the steeplechase and 1,500 meters, and sixth in the 3,000 meters.

Pullen wrapped up an impressive freshman campaign and now ranks seventh all-time in the 800 meters, sixth in the 1,500 meters, and 10th in the 5,000 meters, establishing herself as one of the program's rising stars with a bright future ahead.

On the men's side, Holland continued his postseason success in the sprints. The senior clocked a 10.57 in the 100 meters to finish 11th overall before placing fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.18.

Following the weekend, Holland officially earned a berth to the NCAA Championships in the 200 meters, becoming the first Kingsmen sprinter in at least two decades to qualify for nationals.
