Hall Earns All-American, Bodhidatta Sets New Record at NCAAs

Lincoln Hall and Madi Bodhidatta
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Cal Lutheran men's and women's swimming and diving was represented well at the 2025 NCAA Championships last week by senior Lincoln Hall and junior Madi Bodhidatta.

The duo kicked off the four-day slate with the 50 free on Wednesday, in which Bodhidatta placed 33rd with 23.57 and Hall took 45th with 21.20 in the prelims.

On Thursday, Bodhidatta competed in the 100 fly and was 33rd in the prelim again, this time with 56.27. Her time was good for a new program record in the event, as she beat her own mark of 56.44 which she set just last month at the SCIAC Championships.

Hall highlighted day three with an incredible swim in the 100 breast. He took fifth in the morning prelim with a time of 54.12 to secure himself a spot in the finals. That evening, Hall shaved off .25 seconds from his prelim time to place fourth, making him an All-American in the event.

The championships wrapped up on Saturday as Bodhidatta took on the 100 free, placing 51st with 52.24 in the prelim. Hall impressed in the 200 breast with a tenth-place prelim performance to advance to his second final of the week. He ended the night in 12th with a time of 1:59.36, missing the All-American mark by four spots.

This concludes the 2024-25 campaign for Cal Lutheran swim and dive and sets the tone for next season as the Kingsmen and Regals look to build upon this year's remarkable success.
