THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's swimming and diving (1-3, 1-3 SCIAC) hosted Caltech (7-1, 5-1 SCIAC) and Redlands (2-3, 1-3 SCIAC) in a SCIAC double-dual meet on Saturday, with the Kingsmen beating Redlands 177-82 and losing to Caltech 165-112.
Sebi Petho had a huge day with three total first-place finishes.
Petho grabbed the Kingsmen's initial top finish with a time of 10:06.82 in the 1000y freestyle. Later on, he continued his impressive day with a victory in the 500y freestyle with a time of 4:53.61.
Tristan Serrano kept things going with a first-place finish in the 200y freestyle at 1:47.17, and Andreas Nordland followed up with the top finish in the 50y freestyle with a time of 21.85.
To finish things off, the quartet of Nordlund,
Connor Overton, Serrano, and Petho took first in the 400y freestyle relay with a time of 3:14.18.
Cal Lutheran will continue its SCIAC season with another double-dual meet at La Verne, joined by CMS, next Saturday.
