RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's cross country competed at the Highlander Invitational on Saturday morning in the 6,000 Meters Open race, finishing 6th as a team with 170 points across its 10 participants. The Regals set six personal bests, and six runners set top-25 times in program history at the UC Riverside course.
Summer Gelman led her team with a season-best time of 22:11.70, good for 2nd-place individually in the race.

Ellie Sinclair (24:46.30),
Sophie Wight (25:20.00),
Jackie Prieto (26:21.70),
Dinkenesh Coltvet (29:28.40), and
Kendall Fleming (29:40.10) set personal bests, with Wight and Prieto doing so by over a minute.
Gelman (2nd), Gonzalez (13th), Sinclair (15th), Wight (18th),
Alison Orwin (26:03.10, 21st), and Prieto (22nd) all set top-25 course marks in program history.
Cal Lutheran's next race will be its return to the Pomona-Pitzer course for the SCIAC Championships on the morning of November 1. The Regals recently competed at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite on October 4.
