CLAREMONT, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's cross country sent seven runners to compete at the NCAA West Regionals at the Pomona-Pitzer campus course on Saturday morning. It was the third time this season that the Regals ran that course, but this time it was in some of the most brutal weather conditions in recent memory with heavy rainfall and flooding taking place.
Cal Lutheran sent
Angelina Diaz,
Summer Gelman,
Alexis Gonzalez, Ali Orwin,
Jackie Prieto,
Ellie Sinclair, and
Sophie Wight.
Gelman was the Regals' top finisher at 26th individually with a time of 22:53.9. She was named All-Region for the second time in as many years.
