NEW ORLEANS – The Cal Lutheran men's and women's cross country programs were both recognized with All-Academic Team honors for the 2025 season, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday.

The Kingsmen combined for a 3.25 team GPA, earning the distinction for the 14th consecutive year, while the Regals posted a 3.39 GPA to secure the honor for the second straight season.

Individually, senior sports communication major Summer Gelman was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete. Also standout on the course, Gelman becomes just the third Regals cross country athlete to receive the award since 2005 and the second to earn the honor twice. She recorded a 3.76 GPA during the season.
