REDLANDS, Calif. — Sarah Bjornson broke the school record in the pole vault, clearing 3.61 meters at the Redlands Final Qualifier on Thursday afternoon. 

Bjornson was the lone Regals competing at the final meet of the season. She took first in the pole vault, setting the new program mark. She finished the season ranked in the top 50 for the pole vault. 

Bjornson also competed in the high jump and 400-meter run. She finished first in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.59m. She ran the 400m and placed fifth with a time of 59.97 seconds. 

The Redlands Final Qualifier wrapped up the 2024 season for the men's and women's track & field teams.
