NEW ORLEANS – The Cal Lutheran men's and women's track & field programs were recognized for their success in the classroom by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), earning 2026 All-Academic Team honors. Kingsmen student-athlete Michael Holland also garnered USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete recognition.

The Regals posted a 3.50 cumulative team GPA to earn All-Academic Team honors for the third consecutive season, while the Kingsmen recorded a 3.31 cumulative GPA and received the distinction for the seventh straight year.

Holland became the first Kingsmen track & field student-athlete to earn the individual honor since 2016.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition, NCAA Division III programs must maintain a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.10.

All-Academic Athlete honors are awarded to student-athletes who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and meet established national qualifying criteria during the indoor or outdoor track & field season.
