KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Cal Lutheran men's basketball team was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for its success in the classroom, earning the 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award while placing eight student-athletes on the NABC Honors Court.
The Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball student-athletes who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Representing the Kingsmen on the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court were

The NABC honored more than 2,300 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Honors Court and recognized more than 400 programs with Team Academic Excellence Awards, highlighting the organization's commitment to celebrating academic achievement across all levels of collegiate basketball.
