THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's basketball student-athletes
Camden Hyde,
Jaden Young, and
Ze'ev Remer have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Hyde, a junior guard from Boise, Idaho, carries a 3.92 GPA as a communications major and is set to graduate early. He appeared in all 26 games this season, making 11 starts. Hyde was also named to the Winter Allstate NACDA Good Works Team, an honor recognizing student-athletes across the country for their leadership in community service, academics, and athletics.
Young, a junior guard from Alpharetta, Georgia, holds a 3.59 GPA while majoring in innovation and entrepreneurship. He played in 23 games with 20 starts and earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors following a standout season as the team's top offensive contributor.
Remer, a senior point guard from Los Angeles, California, owns a 3.51 GPA as a computer science major. He appeared in 24 games, starting 23, and served as a steady leader for the Kingsmen. Remer was also named the SCIAC Ted Ducey Award recipient, recognizing the conference's top senior student-athlete for excellence in academics, leadership, and character.
The honor marks the first CSC Academic All-District recognition for all three Kingsmen.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom across NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and compete in a significant percentage of their team's games played throughout the season.
