13 Regals Earn NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thirteen members of the Cal Lutheran softball team were recognized as 2025-26 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced.

The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete award recognizes student-athletes who achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the academic year.

Representing the Regals on this year's list are Ally Forbell, Ava Tepesano, Brooke Strahm, Cassie Jay, Danielle Diaz, Jessica Waters, Joie Steinkamp, Kalli Strahm, Kylen Mingus, Mia Reveles, Riley Gonzalez, Rylee Carrillo and Samantha Swerdloff.

Cal Lutheran's 13 honorees continue the program's tradition of academic excellence, highlighting the team's commitment to success both in the classroom and on the field.
