Jessica Sprouse was named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for her impressive play this weekend on the Regals' road trip up to Washington this past weekend. Cal Lutheran went 2-0 as Sprouse scored a goal in each game.

The sophomore forward from Rohnert Park has already surpassed her mark of one goal from last season after stepping into a major role on offense for the Regals early in 2025.

On the road against #23 Pacific Lutheran on Friday evening, Sprouse netted the match's only score with a clutch boot past the Lutes' keeper into the bottom right corner of the net in the 82nd minute.

She followed that up with a nifty fastbreak goal late in the match on Sunday at Puget Sound, receiving the ball around midfield and maneuvering around multiple Loggers defenders before breaking the keeper's ankles and knocking the ball into the back of the net. That goal proved crucial, as it gave the Regals a 2-0 lead and they won 2-1.

Sprouse and the Regals will look to remain unbeaten when they take on Westmont this Thursday up in Santa Barbara.
