Cal Lutheran women's golf made an appearance in the
Mizuno WGCA Coaches Preseason Poll, receiving 40 votes. The official rankings end after the top 25, but the Regals would be at #28 based on the amount of votes received.
The Regals are coming off a 3rd-place finish at the 2025 SCIAC Championships back in April when they set a program record for 54-hole team score. The SCIAC is well-represented in the preseason poll, with Pomona-Pitzer, CMS, and Redlands all ranked in the top-25.
Cal Lutheran returns four of its five golfers who competed in the SCIAC Championships, as
Maya Dela Rama,
Caroline Morris,
Anna Poulin, and
Brooke Alderson are back for the Regals. Dela Rama is coming off an All-SCIAC nod after a top-10 finish in the tournament.
In the final poll of 2024-25, Cal Lutheran found itself at #21 in the WGCA poll and #22 in the Clippd metrics-based rankings.
The Regals will look to get off to a successful start in 2025-26 when they host the CA State Intercollegiate in Thousand Oaks this upcoming Monday and Tuesday.
