Cal Lutheran men's basketball has been recognized by the NABC as a recipient of the
Team Academic Excellence Award. Programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher are selected.
Individually, junior, senior, and graduate student players with cumulative GPAs of 3.2 or higher were chosen for the
NABC Honors Court. The Kingsmen had six players named.
Jake Martin, a senior sharpshooter, played in all 28 games for the Kingsmen, starting in two of them. He averaged 8.8 PPG and shot 43.4% from deep on 59 total makes.
Junior forward
Luke Varechok appeared in eight games and went two-for-two from the field.
Senior guard
Miles Griffin suited up in 17 games, starting two of them, and put constant defensive pressure on the opponents' most talented players.
Senior
Nick Attanasio started in all 28 games and averaged 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds. The lefty shot 42.9% from three on 57 total connections.
Ryan Hoffman, senior guard, appeared in 17 games and shot 50.0% from the field and 42.1% from distance.
Junior guard
Ze'ev Remer played in 24 games, starting 12 of them, and shot a healthy 42.3% from three and 85.7% from the foul line. He was third on the team with 45 total assists.
