Cal Lutheran women's golf appeared at its highest ranking of the season after an impressive performance at the SCIAC Championships earlier this week in Costa Mesa. The Regals slotted in at #21 in the final
WGCA Coaches Poll of the year, and they are listed at #22 in the nation in the updated
Clippd metrics-based system with a 20.46 average weighted points.
Coming off the lowest 54-hole team score in program history (888), Cal Lutheran has been consistently competitive all year long.
Anna Poulin and
Ashley Zook have led the Regals for much of the season, and
Maya Dela Rama stepped up in a big way during the SCIAC Championships.
Caroline Morris and
Brooke Alderson have been heavy contributors as well.
Now Cal Lutheran must wait to see if its name will be called to compete at the NCAA Championships later this month.
