After their performances in the SCIAC Championships earlier this week, senior
Ashley Zook and junior
Maya Dela Rama have earned All-SCIAC recognition for the 2025 season.
A new selection system was introduced earlier this year, as the top eight individuals in the SCIAC Championships would be named to the First Team and the next seven on the leaderboard would be named to the Second Team, giving All-SCIAC honors to the top-15 finishers in the conference tournament.
Zook shot +3 on the weekend, earning her the school record for lowest score in a 54-hole tournament with 216 total strokes. That landed her tied for fifth individually in the tournament, good for a spot on the All-SCIAC First Team.
In 2024-25, Zook had two top-3 finishes with an adjusted scoring average of 76.4. On Clippd, she had a national ranking of #88 and a regional ranking of #24.
This is Zook's second All-SCIAC selection, as she made the Second Team in 2022, her first year at Cal Lutheran.
Dela Rama shot +7 at the SCIAC Championships, finishing ninth on the individual leaderboard. Her 54-hole score of 220 was the second-lowest in program history behind Zook. In round two of the tournament, Dela Rama shot a 70, tying her for the third-lowest round in program history. She was named to the All-SCIAC Second Team for her performance.
In 2024-25, Dela Rama had an adjusted scoring average of 78.7. On Clippd, she had a national ranking of #149 and a regional ranking of #48.
This is Dela Rama's first All-SCIAC honor.
