Cartozian, Solters, Fitzhugh Achieve All-SCIAC Recognition

After their performances in the SCIAC Championships earlier this week, seniors Adam Cartozian, Hudson Solters, and Blake Fitzhugh have earned All-SCIAC recognition for the 2025 season.

A new selection system was introduced earlier this year, as the top eight individuals in the SCIAC Championships would be named to the First Team and the next seven on the leaderboard would be named to the Second Team, giving All-SCIAC honors to the top-15 finishers in the conference tournament.

Cartozian shot -8 on the weekend, giving him the second-lowest score in a 54-hole tournament in school history with 208 total strokes, two strokes behind his own record. That landed him tied for fifth individually in the tournament, good for a spot on the All-SCIAC First Team.

In 2024-25, Cartozian had two top-3 finishes with an adjusted scoring average of 73.2. On Clippd, he had a national ranking of #107 and a regional ranking of #29.

This is Cartozian's third-consecutive All-SCIAC selection, as he made the First Team in 2023 and 2024.

Solters shot -5 at the SCIAC Championships, finishing tied for 11th on the individual leaderboard. His 54-hole score of 211, one below his personal best, tied for the fifth-lowest in program history. He was named to the All-SCIAC Second Team for his performance.

In 2024-25, Solters had one top-3 finish with an adjusted scoring average of 74.0. On Clippd, he had a national ranking of #210 and a regional ranking of #58.

This is Solters' first All-SCIAC honor.

Fitzhugh shot -3 in the tournament, putting him at the 10th-lowest 54-hole score in program history, and it was a personal best. He tied for 14th individually, good for a spot on the All-SCIAC Second Team.

In 2024-25, Fitzhugh had one top-3 finish with an adjusted scoring average of 73.4. On Clippd, he had a national ranking of #126 and a regional ranking of #33.

This is Fitzhugh's first All-SCIAC honor.
