REDLANDS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's tennis traveled to Redlands for a Saturday morning match, losing 7-0. The Kingsmen were able to notch one doubles victory, but overall it was tough sledding against the #17 team in the nation.
The first completed doubles match came in the #3 spot, as

Andy Ai lost 6-2. In the #1 spot,

Loup Sudre claimed a 6-4 victory to tie the team doubles at one apiece. Sherwood/Sudre have won six of their last eight matches as a duo.
In a tight set out of the #2 spot,

Maciej Gawronski were defeated 7-5. Redlands would enter singles with a 1-0 team lead.
Cal Lutheran was unable to get anything going in singles, losing all matches in straight sets.
Carlo Drewelow continued his return from injury, with this being his second match since February. He competed in the #5 spot and lost 6-4, 6-3.
The Kingsmen have the week off before another road clash against #23 Caltech on Saturday, April 19 at 3pm. The Beavers will mark the third-straight ranked opponent for Cal Lutheran. It will be the final regular season match of 2025 for the Kingsmen.
