THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Success in the classroom continued to match success on the court for the Cal Lutheran men's and women's tennis programs as both teams earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors and 16 student-athletes were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The Kingsmen led the way with 10 Scholar-Athlete selections in
Maciej Gawronski,
Raphael Simon,
Mills Hall,
Jake Anderson,
Mateo Sonaglia,
Ryan Vernon,
Toki Adachi,
Alvin Stromberg,
Carlo Drewelow and
Maxence Faniel.
The Regals added six honorees of their own, with
Zeinah Houwari,
Jannah Houwari, Taylor Crider,
Anya Rajan,
Hannah Houwari and
Kylee Limpias earning the recognition.
The ITA All-Academic Team award recognizes programs that compile a team grade point average of at least 3.2 while including all varsity letter winners in the calculation. Individually, ITA Scholar-Athletes must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA throughout the academic year and appear on their institution's eligibility form.
Cal Lutheran was one of 147 men's programs and 177 women's programs to earn All-Academic Team recognition in NCAA Division III. Nationally, 1,151 men's student-athletes and 1,309 women's student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes during the 2025-26 academic year.
