Despite suffering its first loss of the season to St. Scholastica last Saturday, Cal Lutheran women's basketball remained close to the top 25 in the most recent WBCA Coaches Poll.

The Regals received 20 votes, making them the second team outside the top 25. This is the first time that Cal Lutheran finds itself outside the top 25 this season, as it appeared at #22 in the first rankings of the year.

D3Hoops.com did not release a top 25 this week.

The next coaches poll does not release until January 6, so Cal Lutheran has a couple chances to get wins under its belt before then. The Regals will host Nazareth this Sunday at 4pm before hitting the road for a SCIAC matchup against Chapman the following Saturday, January 3.
