Alline Ballard scored the Regals first two baskets to open up a first half that saw five lead changes.
Ballard recorded her 11th straight double-double of the season, cashing 24 points to go with 14 rebounds and four blocks. Ballard also holds the distinction of being the only player in the conference to average a double-double.
The Regals shot lights out in the first quarter, shooting 77% (7-9) from the field, also cashing both three-pointers they attempted, but Redlands' nine free throws helped send the game to the second quarter up 22-19.
Cal Lutheran evened the score in the second quarter, ending the half on an 11-2 run to send the contest to halftime up 39-32.
The tides never turned in the second half, as although the Regals were outscored in the third quarter, they maintained the lead for the duration of the contest.
Most of the final four minutes of the game occurred behind the free-throw line, as 17 of the final 21 combined points were scored from the stripe.
The Regals are back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 14 as they travel to Claremont to take on the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges Athenas.
