WHITTIER, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's swimming and diving (2-1, 1-1 SCIAC) competed in brutal rainy conditions at Whittier on Saturday in a comfortable 179-106 dual meet victory. Freshmen

The 200y medley relay team of
Alana Tamura,
Katie LaHood,
Madi Bodhidatta, and
Victoria Lawrence kicked off the meet with a first-place time of 1:51.92. Lawrence followed that up with a win in the 200y freestyle (1:59.08).
Julia Benko managed a pair of wins in the 100y (1:02.26) and 200y (2:13.76) backstrokes. LaHood added an individual victory in the 100y breaststroke with a time of 1:10.84.
Joli Fong won the 200y butterfly with a time of 2:19.61. Bodhidatta added two individual first-place finishes in the 100y freestyle (53.92) and 100y butterfly (59.37).
Dru Bauman took the 400y IM with a time of 5:06.58.
Sellman posted impressive times in the 100y backstroke (1:03.52) and 50y freestyle (26.05). Call won the 500y freestyle (5:25.68) and placed well in the 200y freestyle (2:03.75). White finished with solid times in the 50y (25.80) and 100y (55.85) freestyles.
To end the day for swimming, the team of Bodhidatta, Lawrence, Fong, and White won the 200y freestyle relay with a time of 1:40.72.
Maddie Greig won the 3m dive with a 6-dive score of 279.90 and posted a 433.28 11-dive score on the 1m. Both were qualifying scores, leaving her with just one more qualifying score on each to compete in NCAA regionals.
The Regals will be back in action next weekend at the Caltech Invite.
