Kaylee Clayton earned SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week (AOW) honors after leading Cal Lutheran to its fifth-straight win last Tuesday at home against Pomona-Pitzer. Behind Clayton's strong performance, the Regals swept the Sagehens 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.
The 5'9" sophomore outside hitter from Morgan Hill, CA led Cal Lutheran with 11 kills and 12.0 points, adding a service ace and 11 digs.
Clayton becomes the second Regals player to be named SCIAC AOW, as
Keegan Corley has achieved the feat twice this season. The offensive award, however, is Cal Lutheran's first of 2025.
Sitting at 6-2 in SCIAC play, the Regals are tied for second in the conference with CMS. Tomorrow, Clayton and Cal Lutheran take on CMS at home at 7pm.
