Jesper Lunding-Johansson and Gio Valdez earned the first point of the afternoon for the Kingsmen as the pair took down the Panthers duo 8-6 at court number one. Unfortunately, Chapman stole the other two matches during doubles and opened a quick 2-1 lead. Once singles action got going, Lucas Tilly worked his way back from a 7-5 loss in the first sequence to win the second 6-3 and force a tiebreaker, which the CLU junior stole 10-3 for the second and final team point of the day for the Violet and Gold. Both Lunding-Johansson and Valdez forced extra points despite falling 7-5 in their respective first sets of singles action on court No. 3 and No. 1.
