THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, the No. 34 Cal Lutheran men's tennis team dropped a non-conference match, 7-2, against No. 37 Christopher Newport at Poulson Tennis Center.

The Captains got off to a quick start in doubles competition taking a 2-1 lead with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Kingsmen salvaged a point at No. 3 as Dara Kashani and Michael Sulahian rallied for an 8-6 win against Nicholas Ruzicka and William Trang.
