REDLANDS, Calif. - Unlike the last outing for the Cal Lutheran women's basketball team, the Regals erased a 24-19 deficit with a 13-0 run to close out the first half and never looked back en route to a 61-54 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) road win over Redlands tonight.

Offensive Highlights: Chelsea Jacoby provided a second period spark and five players contributed for 13 points in the final four minutes of the opening half. Haley Hodgson led all players with 17 points on a memorable night, going 7-for-8 from the field and 3-for-4 at the free-throw line. Jessica Salottolo also reached double figures with 10 points and she also handed out a team-high three assists while four other Regals had a pair apiece. Overall, Cal Lutheran shot 47.9 percent as a unit.

Defensive Highlights: On the glass, CLU came down with 33 rebounds, including nine offensive, with Jacoby leading the way by grabbing eight rebounds. Hodgson corralled five and each of them notched two offensive boards in the win. Salottolo, Trianna Owen and Janelle Porter all earned two steals and Jacoby, Owen and Kiana Gray all recorded a block tonight.

The Opponent: The Bulldogs looked to Allison Siksuns for 16 points and seven rebounds and Courtney Chen for 10 points, six of the 11 UR steals of the night and four assists.

Notables: The Cal Lutheran win streak was extended to 10 games and has spanned a month. The Regals are off to a 5-0 SCIAC start for the second straight season. Jacoby finished with a near double-double of nine points and eight rebounds.

Next Up: Cal Lutheran (11-3, 5-0 SCIAC) returns to the Gilbert Arena on Saturday, Jan. 16 to host Whittier at 4:00 p.m. following a men's basketball game between the Kingsmen and Poets at 2:00 p.m.
