THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Cal Lutheran women's basketball players
Sydney Heyn and
Natalie Villamor have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
Heyn, a sophomore forward from San Diego, California, boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA as a sport management major. She played in and started all 27 games this season, serving as a consistent presence for the Regals throughout the year.
Villamor, a sophomore guard from Granada Hills, California, holds a 3.61 GPA while majoring in biological science. She appeared in 27 games this season, making 25 starts and playing a key role in Cal Lutheran's backcourt.
The honor marks the first CSC Academic All-District recognition for both Heyn and Villamor.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom across NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and compete in a significant percentage of their team's games played throughout the season.
