Rogers Triple Jumps to All-America

CLAREMONT, Calif. - For the second consecutive year Eric Rogers earned All-America status in the triple jump. He did so on the final day of the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Results: D-III Championships

On Rogers' fifth jump of the afternoon he clinched a spot on the podium with a mark of 14.89m.

He was joined by Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) foe Paul Turner of La Verne who placed third with a jump of 15.13m.

The winning triple jump came from Mike Sandle, a freshman from Wisconsin-River Falls, who jumped a 15.60m on his second attempt.

The championships were hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at Burns Stadium.
