THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. –
Cal Lutheran Athletics is excited to welcome
Faith Culpepper to the department as its newest Administrative Assistant. Culpepper officially joined the Athletics Administration team on August 13.
Culpepper earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California, Davis, in 2022. During her time at UC Davis, she served as an Educational Leadership Consultant and Program Manager of Collegiate Chapter Services for Alpha Phi International Fraternity. Culpepper's primary role as relationship manager was to drive performance, engagement, and long-term organizational growth across 45 collegiate chapters in North America. Her responsibilities included planning and executing more than 35 spirit weeks, managing logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, and participant communication.
Culpepper's connection to Cal Lutheran Athletics is deep-rooted, with her passion for the Kingsmen and Regals beginning from the stands. An avid football supporter, Culpepper spent years cheering on the team, with her connection to the program also extending to her family. Her father, Bill Culpepper, has served as the football program's running backs coach since 2015.
In 2025, Culpepper took her connection to Cal Lutheran a step further when she began pursuing a master's degree in Sports Management. While completing her graduate studies, she joined the Athletics Department as a graduate assistant, where she supported department budgeting and internal operations.
During her time as a graduate assistant, Culpepper supported events, operations, and campus-wide recreational programming. Her work quickly caught the attention of
Elizabeth Brooks, who recognized her abilities and potential.
"Cal Lutheran Athletics has been blessed to have a talented group of Graduate Assistants join our program over the past two years," said Brooks. "
Faith Culpepper was a standout part of last year's group and we are all thrilled to have her back. She excelled in the areas of budget, operations, and event planning and her contagious spirit makes her a perfect fit for our team."
Culpepper continued to build on her experience after earning her Master of Science in Sports Management in May 2026. Just three months after graduating, she participated in a professional development program summit with the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), where she continued to expand her knowledge and explore new opportunities within the sports industry.
Through LASEC, Culpepper gained hands-on experience supporting major summer events, including the Los Angeles Dodgers All Access Event and the Los Angeles World Cup Host Committee Wrap Party. Her continued pursuit of professional development reflects her passion and commitment to the industry across all areas of sports and event management.
Culpepper's unique connection to Cal Lutheran, experience within athletics, and passion for the community bring a special combination of knowledge and enthusiasm to her new role. Cal Lutheran Athletics is excited to welcome Culpepper back to the department and looks forward to the impact she will make as an Administrative Assistant.
