GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Cal Lutheran baseball team has once again been recognized for its success in the classroom, earning the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.

The Kingsmen received the honor after posting a cumulative team grade point average of 3.47 during the 2025-26 academic year. It marks the fourth consecutive season Cal Lutheran has earned the distinction.

The ABCA recognized more than 800 high school and collegiate programs across the country this year, including nearly 500 college teams. To qualify, programs must be led by an ABCA member head coach and maintain a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale throughout the academic year.

The award highlights the Kingsmen's commitment to excellence beyond the diamond, recognizing the dedication and discipline required to succeed both academically and athletically.
