ARCADIA, Calif. – Cal Lutheran men's golf wrapped up its postseason run with a fifth-place finish at the 2026 SCIAC Championships, held over three days at the Santa Anita Golf Course.
The Kingsmen closed the tournament at +13 as a team, opening with a solid +5 in round one before a difficult second round (+9) created ground to make up. Cal Lu responded well in Saturday's final round, posting a 1-under team score to climb the leaderboard and secure fifth.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps claimed the team title at -23, followed by Pomona-Pitzer (-3), while Occidental and Chapman tied for third at +12.
Despite the team result,
Jackson Stitt delivered an outstanding individual performance, finishing fifth overall at 5-under for the championship. He was consistent throughout the three rounds and saved his best for last, firing a 4-under 67 in the final round—the lowest score of the day for Cal Lutheran—to vault into the top five.
Luke Rimkunas turned in a steady showing, finishing tied for 16th at +5. He capped his tournament with an even-par 71 in the final round.
Nick Huffman and

Ty Kuroda rounded out the lineup, placing tied for 29th at +13. He rebounded from a tough second round with an even-par 71 on Saturday to close his tournament on a positive note.
